J.B. L'Esperance is a founding member of The L'Esperance Group, LLC. Many of his clients simply refer to him as "J.B." He is a consultant and advisor in the areas of investment and retirement analysis, estate planning and small business planning. Originally, he started his practice in Michigan's Upper Peninsula right out of college and continues to provide counsel to many of his first group of clients. His utmost priority is to provide excellent service and value to all clients.
J.B. holds licenses in Michigan, Minnesota and Illinois in life insurance, health and accident, property and casualty and variable contracts. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
J.B. grew up as the oldest of six siblings. He learned as he grew up to appreciate teamwork, building relationships and the importance of family values. He traveled across the country playing hockey, which inspired his competitive work ethic. Today, J.B. enjoys playing hockey and golf, plus hunting, reading and spending time with his son. He and his wife, Kelly L'Esperance, are building a practice that will eventually include satellite locations throughout the Midwest. |

Kelly C. L'Esperance is a founding member of The L'Esperance Group, LLC. Her experience includes five years at one of the country's largest commercial banks where she was responsible for investment services. Kelly has a strong background in retirement and education planning, fixed income investing and investment portfolio management. She strives to make a positive difference in her clients' lives.
Kelly grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where her family owned and operated two small resorts. Her parents were a role model and influenced her decision to become an entrepreneur. When she started The L'Esperance Group, LLC., she made a promise to put her clients' needs and objectives above all else.
During her career, Kelly earned her life insurance, accident and health insurance, property and casualty and variable contracts licenses as well as NASD series licenses 6, 7, 63 and 66. She is working towards her CFP (Certified Financial Planner).
Kelly resides in Oxford, Michigan with her husband and business partner and their son Brady. Her outside activities include downhill skiing, golfing, reading, shopping, traveling and, most importantly, spending time with family and friends. |

Michael is the owner of Money Managers, Inc., an SEC-registered investment advisory firm. He provides his clients overall wealth management perspective and portfolio management. He has over 30 years of investment management experience. Michael began managing accounts at Smith Barney in 1979, continued managing accounts when he moved to Paine Webber in 1988, and joined his current firm in 1991. Prior to his career as a money manager, he worked as an investment analyst at several Wall Street firms between 1969 and 1977.
Michael received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University as a philosophy major. He then received an MBA from The Graduate Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting. His MBA thesis was on techniques of hedge fund management. Subsequent to receiving his MBA, he completed the Ph.D. coursework in Business and Applied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, once again majoring in Finance and minoring in Accounting.
Michael grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Minneapolis in 1974. His wife, Ann, is an artist-photographer. They live in Medina, Minnesota, and have two sons. His older son works as an investment analyst in Chicago, and his recently married younger son lives in New York where he has just begun rabbinical school. The family often vacations together and greatly enjoys jeeping and hiking in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado, the huge winter surf in Kauai, and the Okavango Delta of Botswana, Africa.
